Last week we generated a great deal of interest with our Recycling Discovery Day at our tech center in Ipswich, MA. It became the meeting point for 130 guests spanning all sectors of the plastics industry. The focus of the discussions and demonstrations was on post-consumer recycling.

“Film recycling in the USA and Canada has long been a challenge. While practiced in other regions such as the European Union, most recycling programs in the USA do not accept post consumer film. It does not have to be this way, post-consumer film is principally recyclable and can be turned into useful and valuable products again.

EREMA North America is reporting strong increase in material testing requests and a doubling of orders in the current fiscal year.
