EREMA North America (ENA), based in Ipswich, MA, US, has been distributing recycling machines and providing on-site service, spare parts components, and on-site technical support since 1992.
The machine was specially developed for PreZero US, Inc. It is installed at their recycling plant in Westminster, South Carolina, where the company implements waste diversion solutions for plastics to prevent them from ending up in landfills.
The PreZero plant will divert both plastic films and rigid plastics from landfills and turn the diverted materials into high-quality plastic resins for use by blow and injection molders to make products from automotive parts to toys and plastic bags.
The East Coast South Carolina facility will augment their existing facilities on the West Coast giving them a national footprint.
